Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės istorijos naratyvo ir santykio su politiniu tapatumu analizė

LTAr LDK laikotarpio istorijos naratyvas turi likti / tapti dominuojančiu šių dienų lietuvių istorinio ir kartu politinio susivokimo naratyvu? Koks iš tiesų yra ryšys tarp LDK, Abiejų Tautų Respublikos ir tautinio atgimimo judėjimo bei nepriklausomybės tarpukaryje? Atsakymų į klausimus ieškoma šiame tekste. Atrodo, šiandien kalbėdami apie istorinį sąmoningumą turėtume atsigręžti į XIX ir XX a. istoriją. Tačiau tarpukario laikų istorinis naratyvas – tai A. Šapokos, Z. Ivinskio ir jų kolegų pasiūlyta, XX a. realijų diktuota LDK istorijos interpretacija, tad tarpukario laikmečio idėjas, simbolius, procesus sunku suprasti be LDK naratyvo. Tautinis istorinis pasakojimas yra toks pats modernios istorijos sampratos produktas kaip ir liberalus bei marksistinis pasakojimai. Todėl jiems visiems vienodai būdingos tos pačios modernaus istorinio pasakojimo ydos ir problemos. Tautinis istorinis pasakojimas LDK istoriją vaizdavo kaip tam tikrą atskirą, vakuume pakibusį darinį, akcentuodamas politinį ir karinį aspektus. Taip radosi lietuvių kaip herojų, karių, aukų tautos vaizdinys, neleidžiantis matyti kitų tautų, valstybių vaidmens ir palaikantis latentinę antagonistinę pasaulėžiūrą. Tik atkurtos Lietuvos istorikai ėmėsi įgyvendinti tarpukariu Z. Ivinskio pasiūlytą programą. LDK istorija suteikia didesnes galimybes pamatyti Lietuvą platesniame istoriniame kontekste. Jeigu Lietuva nematys savęs pasaulyje, tai ir pasaulis nematys mūsų. O norint save pamatyti ir suvokti, ką davėme ir ką gavome, būtina ilga laiko perspektyva, kurią mums ir suteikia netrumpa, įdomi, daugiabriaunė LDK istorija.

ENDoes the narrative of historical period of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania has to remain/ become the dominant narrative of the contemporary Lithuanian historical and political awareness? What, in fact, is the relationship between the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, the movement of national revival and independence during the interwar period? The answers to these questions are sought in this text. It seems, that today, when talking about historical awareness, we should look back at the history of 19th and 20th century. However, historical narrative of the interwar period – the interpretation of the history of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, suggested by A. Šapoka, Z. Ivinskis and their colleagues, so it is hard to understand the ideas, symbols, processes of the interwar period, without the narrative of the GDL. The national historical narrative is the same product of the modern history concept as the liberal and Marxist narratives. Therefore, they all share the same flaws and problems of the modern historical narrative. The national historical narrative portrays the history of the GDL as a separate, vacuum-suspended formation, emphasizing political and military aspects. In this way, the image of the Lithuanians as a heroes, soldiers, and victims, which does not allow to see the role of other states' nations, and supporting a latent antagonistic worldview, has emerged. Only the historians of the restored Lithuania began to implement the program proposed by Z. Ivinskis during the interwar period. The history of the GDL offers greater opportunities to see Lithuania in a wider historical context. If Lithuania will not see itself in the world, then the world will not see us. And in order to see ourselves and understand what we have given and what we have received, it is necessary to have a long-term perspective, which is provided to us by a short, interesting, multidimensional history of the GDL.
