ENThe article contains an analysis of the size of landed property owned by Uniate parishes in the territory of the Brest part of the Volodymyr diocese in the first quarter of the 18th century. The presented specifications were prepared on the basis of the oldest – almost fully preserved – canonical visitations of the Orthodox churches in the region in question, prepared by Stefan Litwinko, Hegumen of the Basilian Orthodox monastery in 1725–7. The article presents a statistical analysis of the size of parish-owned property, both in holistic terms as well as for particular decanates, which allowed the author to point out certain regional discrepancies. The author also conducted a short comparison of the average property owned by Uniate parish priests in the Brest part of the Volodymyr diocese against that in other regions in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
