ENThe article analyses if socio-cultural and educational aspects condition the attitude of school students towards attractiveness of study subjects of natural sciences. It was established that planning of research activities, search for information in traditional and non-traditional sources, explanation of reasons for the analysed phenomena, drawing of conclusions and application of knowledge in real life situations, foster a positive attitude of sixth and tenth formers towards study subjects of natural sciences. The conducted research is one of the activities of the international project S-TEAM (Science-Teacher Education Advanced Methods) related to insights into strengthening of attractiveness of study subjects of natural sciences.
