Summary / Abstract:

ENThe purpose of the paper is to provide, in short way, explanation of certain ambiguity in Lithuanian prepositions and local cases system. Normative publications suggest using inessive case instead of expected preposition ant in expressions like 'rašyti, piešti lentoje' 'to write, draw on the board'. In these instances inessive case usage may be well-reasoned by cognitive description method.
