Kultūros sociologijos problemos

ENIn this article the research problems of sociology of culture are presented. The themes of cultural researches are determined by reality. The use of cultural values is the most important result of cultural policy. It is especially important at transition period when people are changing points of reference and feeling insecure. Some values become very important, others are less significant. However in Lithuania mass culture is inflated together with the highest values. The article is closed by a concrete problem: a conception of an artist is described.
