ENThe article deals with the conditions of Lithuanian farmers' life and activities during the process of integration into the European Union. The main attention is paid to farmers' problems that impact on farming. The paper presents the results of the sociological research in the districts of Marijampole, Širvintos, Utena, Molėtai, Zarasai and some other. The Lithuanian farming would be similar to the agriculture model of the European Union. According to the sociological research data the Lithuanian farmers don't want to integrate into the European Union, because they are not aware of the future changes as regards their activities and life.
