LTKultūrinė Kuršių nerijos atmintis XX a. antrosios pusės lietuvių poezijoje labai dažnai siejama su Martynu Liudviku Rėza (1776-1840): įvairių autorių tekstuose pasirodo šio Lietuvai svarbaus kultūros žmogaus vardas, jo biografijos detalės, kūrybos citatos. Ypač tokių kūrinių pagausėjo nepriklausomybės išvakarėse ir pačioje laisvos valstybės kūrimosi pradžioje. Tai liudija to meto kultūrinę savimonę, siekį aprėpti platų kultūrinių prasmių lauką, reikšminius baltiškojo paveldo ženklus. Kuršių nerija ir jai atstovaujantis M. L. Rėza tampa integralia lietuvių kultūrinės tapatybės dalimi. ENArticle shows how the place is associated with important to culture people – Martynas Liudvikas Rėza, born in the Curonian Spit, Karvaičiai, becomes the best representing personality of Lithuania Minor’s cultural space. In poetic texts his name refers to the region’s culture and efforts to resist oblivion at least by work, transferring the memory of the place where nothing is left. Biographical intertexts allow the poets to talk about the difficult situation of the man of culture, internal dualism experiencing the loss and death of native heritage. Rėza’s texts gain distinctive accents while being quoted, paraphrased, and transformed: through them the modern human relationship with the texts of the past and new strategies of meaning creation are revealed. The place and name in these texts is perceived as memory of the Baltic culture that can help to preserve the Lithuanian cultural identity. [From the publication]
