LTEkokritikai gręžiasi į literatūros erdves ją suvokdami kaip tarpininką tarp ekosistemos narių - tarp žmonių ir aplinkos, jeigu aplinkos sąvoką traktuosime įprastai. Vis populiarėjant tarpdalykinėms studijoms, o literatūrologams ieškant naujų tyrinėjimo erdvių, ekokritika tampa intriguojančia perspektyva. Literatūra neatsiejama nuo emocinio ir vadinamojo vertybinio aspektų, todėl žmogaus ir gamtos santykių studijos beveik neįmanomos be psichologijos „intertekstų". Toliau bus gilinamasi į ekokritikos, ekopsichologijos ir literatūrologijos „bendradarbiavimo" galimybes, akcentuojant humanitarų ir kitų sričių tyrinėtojų pastangas propaguoti „ekotiesas".

ENThe aim of this entry is to reveal the new possibilities of interdisciplinary studies and to ponder upon possible contribution of the researchers of arts to die work of environmentalists and ecologists while seeking effective solutions, concerning the whole biosphere and ecosystem. Ecology and literary research focus on the process, trace various changes in environment or the realm of culture, therefore the suggestions of fulecocritics not to separate nature and culture seem reasonable and acceptable. The main aim of ecocritics is to "materialize" senses and make the powerful concept of nature closer. This, most likely, could be achieved a help of literary texts, which could serve as specific sessions of relaxation. While reading such „ecotexts" a human being could experience certain emotions, which could provoke particular thoughts. So this complex percept- ecosystem and all its elements - could come closer.
