Tarp dviejų ugnių - Europa versus Amerika?

ENThe author of the article reconsiders the euphoria of many Lithuanians caused by George Bush's visit to Lithuania. He compares the reaction of Lithuanian dailies to the attitudes expressed in Britain, when the president of USA recently visited London. It is suggested that a negative reaction of British citizen was well-grounded, because USA violates moral and diplomatic norms; the Europeans are worried by the fact that present administration of USA refuses to sign an agreement to stop experiments with nuclear weapons. Thus British reaction is more natural than teenage-like euphoria of Lithuanian media.
