Radiotechnikos pramonės pirmtakas - "Elektrit" gamykla Vilniuje

LTRadiotechnika ir elektronika - pramonės šakos, užėmusios labai svarbią vietą Lietuvos ūkyje nuo pat pokario metų. Radiotechnikos pramonės pradžia Vilniuje- 1925 m. įkurta bendrovė "Elektrit", kurią valdė sumanūs žydų veislininkai S. ir H. Chvolesai bei N. Levinas. Jos kieme veikė garantinio remonto dirbtuvė, - prekiauta importine aparatūra. Čia dirbantys specialistai taip pat instaliuodavo radijo aparatus, iškeldavo antenas. Gamyklos produkcija tarpukariu buvo konkurencinga Europoje; radijo imtuvai pasižymėjo puikiu dizainu. Nors visa įranga rusų pirmosios okupacijos metu iš Lietuvos buvo išvežta, pasilikusios darbo tradicijos, žmogiškieji ištekliai leido sėkmingai atkurti ir plėtoti radiotechnikos pramonės šaką respublikoje. 1939 m. užsimota dar labiau išplėsti gamybinius korpusus, suprojektuoti aukštesnio techninio lygio produkciją. Kadangi Vilnius turėjo būti grąžintas Lietuvai, visa gamyklos įranga skubiai išvežta į Minską. Kartu su žaliavų atsargomis, pagaminta produkcija; perkelta net dalis techninio personalo (apie 200 žmonių). Minske gamykla, pavadinta V. Molotovo vardu, buvo įkurdinta medienos perdirbimo įmonės teritorijoje. ENRadio engineering and electronics are the braches of industry, which have occupied a very important position in the economy of Lithuania since as far as the postwar times. The beginnings of the radio engineering industry in Vilnius is the enterprise “Elektrit”, founded in 1925 and managed by savvy Jewish businessmen S. and H. Chvoles and N. Levin. The said company sold imported equipment and provided warranty repair services. The specialists also installed radio equipment and antennas. During the interwar times the production of the plant was competitive throughout Europe, the radio sets were of a splendid design. Although all the equipment was taken away during the first Russian occupation, the remaining working traditions and human resources provided the possibility to resurrect and develop the radio engineering branch in the Republic. In 1939 plans were made to expand the production blocks even more, and ensure a higher technical level of the production. Since Vilnius had to be returned to Lithuania, the entire equipment of the plant was urgently taken to Minsk together with the stock of raw materials and the finished products; even a part of technical staff (about 200 people) was transferred. In Minsk the plant was lodged on the territory of wood processing company and named for V. Molotov. One will not find any signs, reminiscing of this interesting fact of technological history in today’s Vilnius.
