Summary / Abstract:

LT„Jėzus Kristus yra tas pats vakar ir šiandien, tas pats ir per amžius" (Žyd 13, 8). Kristaus buvimą tarp žmonių daro ypač galimą sakramentai: Krikšto, Sutvirtinimo, Eucharistijos, Atgailos, Ligonių patepimo, Kunigystės ir Santuokos. Sakramentai yra nuostabūs, išganingi Dievo įvykiai (lot. mirabilia Dei), vykstantys istorijoje. Jie gelbsti nuo blogio ir nuodėmės, suteikia pašvenčiamąją malonę ir antgamtinį gyvenimą. Straipsnyje apžvelgiama Atgailos /Sutaikinimo sakramento raida, pagrindiniai sakramento šventimo formavimosi etapai ir apeigų bruožai. Atskleidžiamos šio sakramento ištakos Šventajame Rašte, jo samprata Bažnyčios mokyme. Aptariama Tridento ir Vatikano II susirinkimų mokymo apie šį sakramentą esmė. Velykinė išganymo paslaptis yra Dievo veikimo istorijoje viršūnė, gelbstint žmogų nuo nuodėmės. Kiekvieną, kuris išpažįsta Kristų, Dievas nuolat išlaisvina iš nuodėmės vergijos. Todėl Atgailos sakramentas penitentui yra jo asmeninė išganymo istorija. Pats Dievas atleidžia nuodėmes ir grąžina Dievo vaikų garbę.

EN'Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever' (Hebrews 13:8). The presence of Christ among people is especially enabled by the Sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Marriage. The Sacraments are wonderful, salutary works of God (Lat. mirabilia Dei) taking place in history. They save from evil and sin, grant the sanctifying grace, and supernatural life. The article reviews the development of the Sacrament of Penance/Reconciliation, the main stages of formation of Sacrament celebration, and the characteristics of the ceremony. The article discloses the origin of this Sacrament in the Holy Scriptures and its conception in the teaching of the Church. The essence of the teachings of the Council of Trent and the Second Vatican Council on this Sacrament. The Paschal Mystery of salvation is the climax of the work of God in history to save the man from sin. Each who professes Christ is constantly liberated from the slavery of sin by God. Therefore, the Sacrament of Penance is the personal history of salvation to the penitent. God himself absolves the sins and restores the honour of the children of God.
