Summary / Abstract:

LTPripažįstant pašaukimo svarbą profesijos pasirinkimo procese, suvokiant jo aktualumą profesinės veiklos raiškoje, siekiama išsiaiškinti profesinio pašaukimo reikšmę andragogo praktikai, veiksnius, lemiančius pašaukimą andragogo profesijai, formuojančius profesinį tinkamumą ir kryptingumą, sąlygojančius andragogo veiklos stabilumą ir dinamiką. Todėl straipsnyje pateikiamos teorinės tyrimo problemos įžvalgos, atskleidžiant profesinio pašaukimo sampratą ir esmę, kilmę ir požymius bei jo raišką lemiančius veiksnius. Pristatomi ir analizuojami atlikto empirinio tyrimo – būsimų andragogų požiūrio į profesinį pašaukimą, jį lemiančius veiksnius ir andragogo profesijos pasirinkimo motyvus – esminiai rezultatai. ENThe object of the article – professional vocation in andragogue’s activity. Professional vocation – a disposition for activities revealing through innate faculties, which add to the development of skills, values, interests, and needs. It shows with positive personal qualities, attitude, commitment, satisfaction in the activity that provides a predisposition to activity, growing into professional vocation. Therefore, the study results affirm individuality and the pursued professional knowledge, and the conception of their due congruity is important in individual professional vocation recognition process. The data of empirical analysis suggested that professional vocation is most often long-term aptitude for professional activities determined by internal factors, ensuring opportunities for personal fulfillment and self-expression, manifesting as the motive of the aptitude for the chosen profession, the pursuit of the actualization of professional activity, and its professional orientation. The study revealed that professional orientation can be stipulated by various professional interests and motives. Professional vocation motives are not individual personal preference determining factors, but complex formations that determine the unique professional motivation expression of the personality and the profession action strategy.The study found that the majority of future andragogues have chosen the profession, to their opinion, that conforms to their professional vocation. Professional vocation for andragogue’s activity is mainly driven by their personal characteristics, abilities, aptitudes and inner motives. Most of the future andragogues recognize the importance of vocation in andragogue professional self-awareness and motivation, they comprehend professional suitability and the relevance of the orientation in andragogue’s professional expression, envisage the importance of professional vocation for andragogue’s practice, operational stability and dynamics. All this reasons the relevance of professional vocation role in andragogue’s activity. [From the publication]
