LTDidžiąją dalį pedagoginės krypties aukštųjų mokyklų kontingento sudaro merginos. Todėl svarbu daugiau dėmesio skirti merginų fizinio aktyvumo problemų sprendimui. Atlikti tyrimai rodo, kad savanoriškai pasirinktos aerobikos pratybos teigiamai paveikė pirmojo kurso studenčių fizinį parengtumą, turėjo ženklų poveikį jų funkcinio pajėgumo kitimui.
ENThe aim of the present paper was to establish the efficiency of optional aerobics training classes for the physical and functional capacity of the first year students of Šiauliai University. It was defined that participating in additional optional aerobic training classes (three limes per week) had positive infence on students physical and functional capability results. When students missed physical training classes for 1-1,5 months, their physical and functional capability results became worse. E1 group students had no aerobic training during their winter examinations and holiday, but their physical and functional capacity was on the same level. The physical and functional capacity index of El group students was greater and in many cases reliably (p<0,()01) higher than that of E2 group students. The optional aerobic training classes gave students an opportunity to realize wishes and abilities of organism, to improve physical skills. Physical training once a week, did not properly train physical and functional capacity of students. Methods of the optional physical training aerobic classes proved to be necessary and efficient.
