ENAim of research was to analyze training content, competitions results and make a comparative pedagogical analysis of elite Lithuanian female high jumpers. The best five high jumpers representing the period since 1981 till 2001 were brought for analysis of their quantitative and qualitative indices of physical loads, which have been tested for reliability of difference (p) and for interrelation. The change of sport results of the three generations (1970-2000) has been discovered. The research results have exposed the following tendencies of general training of elite Lithuanian high jumpers, which existed during the several decades. 1. Physical training loads have been divided into five groups and would consist of speed, jumping fitness, strength training and development of technique as well as competition loads. 2. According to the existing training theory the quantitative and indices of various physical loads, annual training structure and competition timetable are divided into separate training periods and methodically changed. Mathematical statistics analysis of physical loads of various high jumpers representing different periods has disclosed that each year there was a big discrepancy of arithmetical average of quantitative figures and conspicuous standard deviation.This means that difference of quantitative indices of physical training loads remain big during various month of training cycle. This shows tendency of quantitative indices of physical training loads and training methods, which existed until present day. The quantitative indices of physical training loads when compared for each high jumper has proved to be different and that difference is rather obvious (p<0.05 up to p<0.001). The average of sport results since 1970 till 2000 has improved from 1.74±0.01 m up to 1.81±0.02 m. (p<0.001). During all the above mentioned periods the training of elite female high jumpers involved three major didactical trends: 1. Perfection of technique. 2. Development of speed. 3. Development of jumping fitness and strength training.
