LTTyrimo tikslas – atskleisti Lietuvos krepšinio studentų lygos krepšininkų ir krepšininkių emocinių būsenų raišką. Tiriamąją imtį sudarė Lietuvos kūno kultūros akademijos ir Kauno technologijos universiteto (KTU) I-IV kurso studentai ir studentės: iš jų 20 Lietuvos kūno kultūros akademijos ir KTU merginų krepšinio komandos narių ir 20 Lietuvos kūno kultūros akademijos ir KTU vaikinų komandos narių. Nustatyta, kad vaikinų ir merginų pažintinio (kognityviojo) nerimo lygis prieš rungtynes buvo vidutinis, o somatinio nerimo lygis aukštesnis nei vidutinis. Lyginant rezultatus pagal lyti buvo nustatyta, kad vaikinai pasižymėjo aukštesniu pažintinio ir somatinio nerimo lygiu nei merginos. Taip pat nustatyta, kad vaikinai pasižymėjo žemu pasitikėjimo lygiu prieš rungtynes, o merginų pasitikėjimo savimi lygis buvo vidutinis.
ENEmotional state of athletes in sport is a very common problem to discuss. It management is widely used for sports psychologists; therefore, it is necessary to explore more of its characteristics. The topicality of the research is based on the fact that studies commonly analyze the expression of emotional states among male and female basketball players. The aim of the study is to reveal the expression of emotional states among male and female basketball players of Lithuanian student's basketball league. The sample for this research includes 20 male and 20 female I-IV year students of Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education and Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) from Lithuanian student's basketball league. Anxiety and self-confidence among basketball players of Lithuanian student's basketball league using the Competitive State Anxiety Inventory were tested. It was established that cognitive anxiety level before the game was average for boys and girls, however, somatic anxiety level was above the average level. Comparing the results by gender, it was established that boys had higher cognitive and somatic anxiety level than girls. Moreover it was determined that boys had a lower confidence level before the game, comparing with girls whose confidence level was average.
