Kluonalių senųjų laukų žvalgomieji archeologiniai tyrinėjimai

LT2005 m. vykdyti Kluonalių senujų laukų (Kretingos m.), esančių kairiajame Jauryklos upelio krante, žvalgomieji archeologiniai tyrinėjimai. 2004 m. plačios apimties archeologiniai tyrinėjimai atlikti kitame Jauryklos upelio krante. Archeologinių tyrimų tikslas - nustatyti, ar kairiajame Jauryklos upelio krante yra išlikusių nesunaikintų akmenų krūsnių ar pylimų liekanų [p. 378].

ENIn 2005 an archaeological survey of the Kluonaliai ancient fields was performed. It aimed to establish, whether any structures (stone piles or ramparts) relevant to ancient agricultural fields were present on the left bank of the Jaurykla rivulet. During the survey 4 trenches (1-4) covering 103.5 m² in total were investigated. In the trenches 2 and 4 no structures identifying ancient agricultural fields were discovered. In the trench 1 two damaged basements of the stone piles, which had about 3 m in diameter, were discovered. In the trench 3 a heavily damaged basement of a stone pile (?) was found as well. The investigation has enabled us to conclude, that there are certain, although heavily damaged structures of ancient agricultural fields remaining on the left bank of the Jaurykla rivulet.
