ENPractical activity of the grand dukes of Lithuania Alexander Kazimirovic and Sigismunt Kazimirovic in the administrative, economic and legal spheres and its conformity to state legal standards are considered in the article. The author comes to the conclusion that at the times of the named monarchs’ ruling the power of grand dukes was very weak and it didn’t correspond not only to declarative but to officially definite, limited condition.
