Vaikas ir televizija: šiandieninė situacija ir problemos

LTStraipsnyje analizuojama televizijos įtaka pradinių klasių mokinių ugdymui. Pristatomi tyrimo, atlikto Vilniaus miesto vidurinėse mokyklose, rezultatai. Aptariama, kokias laidas ir filmus žiūri pradinių klasių mokiniai, analizuojamos priežastys, kodėl ugdytiniams patinka vieni ar kiti veikėjai ir kokios jų asmeninės savybės mokiniams labiausiai imponuoja; išsakomi vaikų lūkesčiai televizijai ir pateikiamos rekomendacijos tėvams.

ENThe article analyses influence of television on education and development of primary learners. The findings of the research conducted in the secondary schools of Vilnius are presented. The results of the research, with a sample of 150 children and their parents, reveal that the same tendencies prevail in Lithuania, Europe or America: the most popular film among children of 9-12 years is 'The Simpsons'. The same reasons for liking it are provided (characters are funny, silly, 'cool', raving). The research also revealed that the majority of the respondents fail to find alternatives for television, therefore, they escape from a real world and live in a virtual space. Children do not have skills of their free time planning and it becomes monotonous. Active penetration of television into child's life is determined by parents' occupation and their indifference to children's free time.
