Summary / Abstract:

Reikšminiai žodžiai: Pirmapradė sąmonė; Artikuliuotas kūnas; Kosminis laikas ir kosminis šokis; Policentrinė sąmonė; Pilietinė sąmonė; Primeval consciousness,; Articulated body; Cosmic time and cosmic dance; Multi-central consciousness; Civil consciousness.

ENThe form of Algis Mickūnas’ conception of culture phenomenology was greatly influenced by German – French phenomenological tradition. We set two points of tradition epoch which were fatal for Mickūnas: 1) Husserl’s transition from research of phenomenological conscience structures to the phenomenology of "living world"; and 2) Merleau-Ponty’s emergency of sensual conception phenomenology. Mickūnas was influenced significantly by Eugene Fink’s philosophy of cosmos, Jean Gebser’s readings (he was joint author of the main Gebser’s creation The Ever-Present Origin in 1985) and studies of world myths (first of all of West and India). Although variety of subjects and problems was significant, besides, due to structural integrity, every and each of them could be chosen as a reference point for the thesis research, we chose cultural phenomenology. We were urged by development of topics of Mickūnas and Husserl’s "living world". On the late period (Die Krisis) Husserl reflected the world not only as "living human being’s" intentional actions but as the world of his historical purposes as well. Husserl’s historical phenomenology joins personal and teleological opinions. Therefore any cognition takes start with the desire to understand "the world of the presence", and the world is common, the history is common as well. So as we can perceive facts of the presence from the prospect of the past, we can perceive the facts from the past from the prospect of the presence. Striving for strictness of history phenomenology Husserl identified conditions of every possibility of common historical experience with universal essence of phenomenological mind. This way conception of teleological history was born which was finally perfected by conclusion of Husserl that defined purpose of the history matches the essence of the culture of the West. Mickūnas adopted from the father of phenomenology the idea of multi-centricity, as conditions of possibility of common conception of facts, but the essence of the West culture supporting teleological perpendicularity he made relativistic and transferred to the area of direct sensual experience. This is to say, although Husserl and Mickūnas both appeal to the past, Mickūnas phenomenological philosophy (1) depolarized presence with the past, and (2) set free the experience of the essence of the West culture, leaving it with the state of possibility. After this change phenomenology of culture equaled with phenomenology of multi-central consciousness. But the multi-central consciousness changed as well. In terms of Husserl’s phenomenology the question what was the meaning of transcendental reduction we had answer excluding the strict ratio of mind and object, when the mind bookmarked universal form of essence, depicting ‘structure of transcendental subjectivity in general’. That is to say the very idea of reduction implicated teleological purpose of phenomenology. Refusing teleology the reduction ‘put’ us in the world exactly, and not in its rational implications. Therefore Mickūnas follows Fink and claims that in its essence reduction is critical (or of crisis). The area of consciousness life Mickūnas names as primeval-multi-central life of perception. We will study variety of planes of primeval-multi-central life of perception. They all fall under the heading of phenomenology of culture.
