Summary / Abstract:

ENIn the article certain attempts are made to throw some light on the Vilnius higher schools students attitude towards social activities and active participation in the social life of the country. We have tried to ascertain the extent of the influence of students as a socially active group of population. On the basis of the data of investigations carried out in 1999 the importance of the Vilnius town social and psychological environment manifests itself when forming the students social position, attitude towards a socially active personality.
