ENThe article discusses the social and psychosocial as well as literary and cultural contexts of the Independent Republic of Lithuania in which Radauskas found himself. The phenomenon of Radauskas is discussed using D. Maingueneau's concept of paralogia. It is claimed that the phenomenon of Radauskas was formed as a parathopic model under the influence of the mechanism of compensatory exchange. A conclusion is drawn that the formation of this phenomenon was not so much affected by Radauskas' individuality as it was affected by universal sociocultural laws. At present, this phenomenon has already lost its social and ideological aura, which, in turn, changes the contours of its content and cultural mythology. [text from author]
