Teatrališkumo būvis : postmodernizmo pavidalai šiuolaikiniame Lietuvos teatre

LTTeatrinis modernizmas, istorinis avangardas ir postmodernizmas yra glaudžiai susiję, kadangi nemaža dalis postmodernaus teatro darbų plėtoja modernizmo ir istorinio avangardo tradicijas ir bando spręsti dar moderniame teatre iškeltas problemas. Esminiai pokyčiai vyksta ne tiek stilistinių bruožų, kiek jų ideologinių implikacijų bei kultūrinių prielaidų lygmenyje. Lietuvos teatre egzistuoja ne „grynasis“ ar vakarietiškas postmodernizmas, o tam tikri postmodernios paradigmos sąlygoti pokyčiai, glaudžiai sąveikaujantys su esama kultūrine ir teatrine tradicija. Vienos postmodernistinės estetikos tendencijos (vizualumas, savirefleksyvumas, intertekstualumas) labiau prigijo Lietuvos teatro erdvėje, o kitos (kūno, technologijų refleksija) nesurado palankios dirvos ir yra silpnai reprezentuojamos šiuolaikiniame Lietuvos teatre. Lietuvoje sparčiau vyksta tie postmodernus pokyčiai, kurie susiję su režisieriaus institucija, tuo tarpu aktorinės ar dramaturginės transformacijos yra retesnės ir atsitiktinės. Jungiantis vakarietiško postmodernizmo sandams ir Lietuvos teatrinei bei kultūrinei tradicijai, atsiranda būdingų lokalaus postmodernizmo ypatumų: spektakliuose dekonstruojama masinė kultūra inkorporuoja pseudosocrealistinę meninę raišką; dekonstruojami nacionalinės kultūros tradicijos tekstai ar įvaizdžiai; Lietuvoje pastebima mažesnė poststruktūralistinės teorijos įtaka teatro meninei praktikai. ENTheatre modernism, historical avant-garde and postmodernism are closely interrelated, because many postmodern theatre works develop the traditions of modernism and avant-garde and try to solve the problems pointed out already in modern theatre. Essential changes take place on the level of ideological implications and cultural prerequisites of stylistic features rather than on the level of stylistic features themselves. Certain changes determined by a postmodern paradigm, which closely interact with the current cultural and theatrical tradition, rather than “pure” or Western postmodernism exist in Lithuanian theatre. Some postmodern aesthetical tendencies (visualness, self-reflection, intertextuality) better established in the space of Lithuanian theatre, whereas others (body, technology reflection) have not found a favourable environment and are poorly represented in modern Lithuanian theatre. Postmodern changes related to the institute of an artistic director more rapidly take place in Lithuania, while actor or dramaturgy transformations are rarer and accidental. With the elements of Western postmodernism and Lithuanian theatre and cultural tradition connecting, there appear typical peculiarities of local postmodernism: mass culture deconstructed in performances incorporates a pseudo-social-realistic artistic expression; national culture tradition texts or images are deconstructed; a smaller influence of the poststructuralist theory on the artistic practice of theatre is observed in Lithuania. With the ideas of theatricality of culture establishing and the concept of performance widening, theatre has to reconsider and reconstruct the foundations of its representation system.
