Summary / Abstract:

ENThe aim of this article is to present archives in foreign countries to the explorers of the Lithuanian army. It presents Polish, Russian and Czech archives where a great number of documents related to the Lithuanian army in the period from 1918 to 1940 are kept. The documents include different military orders, reports, documents of military attache and diplomats. The Polish Central Military Archives in Warsaw, The State Archives of the Russian Federation, the collection of the Centre of Historical - Documentary collections, the Russian State Military Archives in Moscow, the Czech Military Historical Archives and the Central State Archives in Prague are introduced. In addition, the article provides the numbering of documents and sections where these documents are kept.
