Summary / Abstract:

LT„Niekio Sūnaus“ teorija A. Šliogeris tarsi vainikuoja tam tikrą savo filosofinės minties evoliucijos tarpsnį. Reikšminiai žodžiai: Būtis; Filosofija; Meilė, „Niekio Sūnus"; Niekis; Pedagogika; Prasmė; Siela; Sąmonė; Šliogeris; „niekio skylė"; "Hole of Nothingness"; "Son of Nothingness"; Being; Consciousness; Love; Meaning; Nothingness; Pedagogy; Philosophy; Soul; Šliogeris.

ENIn the article philosophy's (word) and pedagogue's (example) relationship, their internal (meaning of life) and external (teacher's example, his philosophy of education) connections are surveyed. Especially moral responsibility of philosophy is emphasised in cases when it attempts to ground the essence of human nature. Upon the latter for the most part depends the theory and practice of education, that is, what the man will be educated. In the article, a Lithuanian philosopher's (A. Šliogeris) new theory of man as the "Son of Nothingness" through a prism of philosophical-pedagogical criticism is viewed. Analysis of this theory shows that it is contradictory. On the one hand, it is grounded on questionable values of philosophical, logical and pedagogical postulates, propositions and principles, overestimates one side (selfishness, the bastial spirit of man's soul) of human nature, erroneously treats the sense of consciousness ("Hole of Nothingness", "Black Hole"), therefore it is doubtful and cannot be treated as a scientifically grounded theory of the essence of human nature. For such reasons it is not recommended to use in educational theory, all the more in educational practice. On the other hand, this theory, overestimating one side of human nature lays bare the truth about hidden danger in man's soul for his existence. The author also gives attention to the academical usefulness of the theory of man as a "Son of Nothingness" for education criticism of pedagogical thinking of students in teacher training institutes. To achieve the latter goal, it is necessary to extend the volume of philosophical studies in the teacher training process. [text from author]
