Kultūrinis elementas užsienio kalbų mokyme(si)

LTVis intensyvesni kontaktai tarp skirtingų tautų ir kultūrų atstovų sąlygoja ne tik didėjantį užsienio kalbų mokymosi ir mokėjimo poreikį, bet ir reikalauja tam tikro kultūrinio pasiruošimo, suteikiančio galimybes sėkmingai veikti daugiakultūrėje aplinkoje. Straipsnyje analizuojama kalbos ir kultūros santykis užsienio kalbų mokyme(si) tarpkultūrinės kompetencijos svarba šiandieninėmis sparčios visuomenės kaitos bei globalizacijos sąlygomis. Tyrimu siekiama atskleisti pačių besimokančiųjų požiūrį į būtinybę susipažinti su konkrečios tautos, kurios kalbos mokomasi, kultūra bei bendravimo ypatumais.

ENIn the 21th century, the age of intense globalization and rapid changes, foreign languages have become one of new general competence. It is obvious, however, that the learning of languages as the cultural expression of a certain nation is inseparable from necessity to get acquainted with that nation and its communication peculiarities. Only the involvement of cultural element into the learning/teaching process enables the strengthening of interrelationship and tolerance as well as the guarantee of successful communication. Moreover, the learners' frame of mind and consciousness are of great importance, too. The results of the survey reveal both that the respondents knowledge and awareness of a different culture and its communication peculiarities are quite little and the learners' perception of the cultural element importance is not adequate.
