Summary / Abstract:

ENThe paper analyses the counterterrorism systems in selected post-Soviet states, detailing East European countries. Systems of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Lithuania are examined. This analysis includes the level of legal (criminal legal regulations), institutional (institutions and bodies involved in counterterrorism) and conceptual (main goals and tasks) solutions. In addition, the article shows the scale of activity of contemporary terrorists movements and organizations in this region.
