Ričardo Gavelio "Įsibrovėliai": pasakotojo (de)konstrukcijos

LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjamas 1982 m. pasirodęs antrasis Ričardo Gavelio novelistikos rinkinys Įsibrovėliai, dėmesys sutelkiamas į pasakotojo figūrą ir jos problemiškumą. Taikant iki šiol rašytojo kūrinių analizei nenaudotus dekonstrukcinio interpretavimo principus bandoma identifikuoti ir apibrėžti Gavelio pasakotoją ir jo santykį su pasakojamos istorijos veikėjais. Pasakotojas šiame mažosios epikos rinkinyje yra labili, neskaidri, daugiaveidė ir daugiaprasmė teksto figūra, tampanti dekonstrukcijos objektu – ir patirianti ją, ir pati ją steigianti. Pasakotojas yra skirtingų vidinių gyventojų dėlionė, arba portretų pasjansas, išaugantis į žymiai platesnę „aš“ figūros sampratą. „Aš“ figūra yra reikšminga, įdomi ir svarbiausia Gavelio pasakojimo erdvė, kurioje žaidybiškais santykiais brėžiamas kitoks teksto reikšmės kelias – ji neišsakoma, o ja žaidžiama. „Aš“ erdvėje susitelkia ne tik iš kitų tekstų atėjusios figūros ir jų reikšmės, neretai naujai persikuriančios, bet ir savaip transformuojasi jau esančios. ENThis article analyzes Ričardas Gavelis's second collection of short stories, Įsibrovėliai (The Intruders, 1982), focusing on the problematic figure of the narrator. In this first application of deconstructive interpretive techniques to Gavelis's writing, the article seeks to identify and define Gavelis's narrator and his relations to other characters in the story. In this collection of short stories the narrator is a labile, unclear, multi-faceted, and complex figure, and becomes the object of deconstruction - both experiencing and generating it. The narrator is an arrangement - a hand of cards - of different internal inhabitants who grows into a broader conception of the figure "I." The "I" figure is broad, and the most interesting and important space in Gavelis's narration - one in which the path of the text's meaning is defined through relations of play, so that the text is not told, but played. The "I" space brings together figures from previous texts, together with their sometimes reinvented meanings, while at the same time transforming those from the current one. That the problem of the narrator was of great concern to Gavelis is confirmed in his letters to Leo Ray, a friend from his university days. In them, Gavelis repeatedly returns to the complex problem of the N. (Narrateur), as he calls it: "It is horrible, the problem of the N., just horrible. But it can't be closed. One must make an effort." That effort is evident in the author's experiments in the Invaders stories, which evolved into his novels, especially Vilnius Poker, which Gavelis referred to as the fantasmagorical quintessence of N., or as the death of the demiurge.
