Summary / Abstract:

Teorines prielaidas papildo empirinio tyrimo rezultatai. Straipsnis susideda iš penkių dalių. Pirmojoje dalyje analizuojamas imlumas ir susijusios sampratos. Antrojoje dalyje imlumas aptariamas inovacinio proceso kontekste. Trečiojoje dalyje analizuojamos dėstytojo veiklos ir galimi barjerai inovacijos įgijimo fazėje. Ketvirtojoje dalyje pristatoma dėstytojų imlumo pedagoginėms inovacijoms metodologija ir organizavimas. Penktojoje dalyje pristatomi tyrimo rezultatai ir išvados. ENThe article exposes the problem of teachers' receptivity to pedagogical innovations and possible barriers in the innovation initiation phase. Teacher of a non-university higher education institution - college - nowadays has not only to be positive toward external and internal change, but be able to select the most important innovations from the whole flow. Fullan (2002) points out that the main purpose today should not be implementation of as many innovations as possible, but doing that selectively, coherently, harmoniously. Teacher's receptivity should not be elemental, spontaneous. It is a complex and therefore complicated process where teacher performs a number of important activities using different knowledge and abilities. The paper analyzes the initial phase of teacher's innovative activity and the starting point of the innovative process - innovation search. Theoretical assumptions are supported by empiric research results. The paper consists of five sections. The first section analyzes receptivity in relation with associated concepts; in the second section receptivity is discussed in the context of innovative process: the first phase - initiation - is being analyzed and teacher's activities in it; the third part presents teacher's activities and possible barriers in innovation acquisition phase; the fourth section deals with research on teacher's receptivity to pedagogical innovations methodology and organizational background. And the final - fifth- section presents the research results and conclusions. [From the publication]
