Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje analizuojama bendrojo lavinimo mokyklos veiklos efektyvumo tyrimo kriterijų ir indikatorių problema. Efektyvumo tyrimui pateikiama įvairių autorių siūlomi kriterijai ir indikatoriai, analizuojamos jų taikymo galimybės Lietuvos bendrojo lavinimo mokyklos veiklos efektyvumo tyrimo kontekste. Pateikiami empirinio tyrimo rezultatai apie Kauno apskrities bendrojo lavinimo mokyklų vadovų naudojimąsi veiklos efektyvumo tyrimo kriterijais ir indikatoriais. Tyrimas leidžia teigti, kad bendrojo lavinimo mokyklų vadovai neturi veiklos efektyvumo tyrimo kriterijų ir indikatorių sistemos. Taip pat pabrėžiamas aktualumas turėti universalią švietimo įstaigų kokybės tyrimo rodiklių sistemą, siekiant vertinti jų veiklos efektyvumą. ENThe aim of this work is to reveal the criteria and indication application problems in the context of Lithuanian secondary school effective activity research. Certain criteria and indicators are indispensable in order to study the activity of the school as an education micro-system and foresee its development strategies. The issues analysed at scientific conferences held by the Ministry of Education and Science show that the Lithuanian secondary school activity needs improvement. School effective activity research requires special attention. At present in order to analyse the activity of Lithuanian schools of general education, the summary prepared by the Ministry of Education and science is used. However, the criteria used for evaluating the activity do not reflect the actual effective activity of schools. It is necessary to define the concept of effective school activity, set certain criteria and analyse both changes in school and research possibilities. The evolution of these issues becomes more urgent as Lithuania seeks integration into the European Union. The paper presents criteria and indicators by various scientists to research and evaluate school effective activity. The analysis of the questionnaire which was used to question the heads of the schools of general education in the Kaunas County suggests the most important spheres in school effective activity research. It is emphasised that analysing the efficiency of schools, the problem of research criteria and indicators arises. It is due to the education system which being a multi-level social system consists of many levels, thus analysis of different levels is required. The research criteria and indication system of the education system must correspond to the main analysis levels. [From the publication]
