ENMotivation process and its change possibilities in time are described in this article. The longitudinal research was made and it showed students motivation change in the educational process. It was ascertained why the students with poor motivation start studies at the university and their possibilities to become motivated to their profession. While entering the university future student usually evaluates his capabilities inadequately when ranging studies programs for his further professional carrier. Low school finishing score brings him to the last selection. In this situation the most of unmotivated to their profession students already in the first stage – the phase before the decision is made - stay indifferent to the purposes oriented to the educational process. Their ambitions and needs are of entirely different direction. He stays indifferent to what is happening. If the aim could be reached without learning to accomplish a particular task, the selection alternatives emerge - orientation to diploma. In the orientation to learning, developing skills, the purpose approaches slowly - while realizing the tasks the student improves the skills required to reach the aim. Seeking to accomplish the task better he needs constantly to improve the skills - some extra motivation mechanisms are needed for this, which will keep the attention for a long time and there is a need to strengthen the efforts adequately. The motivation effects value associated with the primary decision to seek the aim lessens during the complicated educational process and it grows with these decisions which make influence to the process during the task fulfilling period.
