ENChildren usually suffer, because adults do not know how to work or even talk with a child, whose father or mother died. During the experiment we tried to check how such "strange" lessons, were we talked about the loss of a pet and the loved ones, can and did make an influence on a child's ability to estimate some values and critical situations from the positive point - of-view, also to create some new methods for teachers on how they could work (without fear) with grieving kids at school. We had an experiment with children aged 11-12 and the theme of loss was included into the main content of such subjects as Lithuanian & Literature, Music, Ethics, etc. Because the problem is that when a teacher doesn't know the main psychological aspects of a loss, then she can't normally work with a class where someone experienced death of the loved person. The experiment has showed that: lessons, in which we talked about the loss with kids, have made a positive influence on a child's ability to estimate some values and critical situations; the theme of the loss is easy to include into the main content of the subjects taught; new methods that we found during the experiment can help a teacher to deal with a grieving child and the rest of the class; children aged 11-12 and younger like to talk about the loss of a pet or the loved one and it is the best time for grownups to catch that moment.
