Prūsų "perstlanstan" (E 215) kaip tautologinis darinys

LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjama prūsiška forma E 215 Perʃtlanʃtan 'langinė', kuri iki šiol neturi visuotinai pripažinto etimologinio aiškinimo. Kalbininkai, aiškindami šio prūsiško žodžio etimologiją, sutaria dėl vieno: jame matyti tokia pati hipostazė, kaip ir prūsų po-balso 'čiužinys', pocorto 'slenkstis' ir pan. atvejais. Remiantis šia prielaida, Perʃt- suprantamas kaip per 'prieš' ilgesnis variantas ir visas prūsiškas žodis aiškinamas kaip 'tai, kas prieš langą'. Perʃt- priskyrimas prūsų kalbos prielinksnio pirsdau 'prieš' kategorijai nėra be priekaištų. Visiškai tikėtina, kad prūsų E 215 etimologija yra visai kitokia, susijusi su Elbingo žodynėlio vokiškos skilties interpretacija. Konstatuojama, jog vargu ar galima prūsų kalbos žodžio su priešdėliu Perʃt- reikšmę paaiškinti jį lyginant su viduriniosios vokiečių kalbos atitikmeniu. Struktūros atžvilgiu prūsiškas žodis su priešdėliu Perʃt- neturi atitikmenų kitose baltų kalbose (lietuvių langinė, latvių luogs slēgis). Akivaizdu, kad tai yra ne kas kita, kaip palyginti didelės formalios užrašymo autonomijos inspiruotas viduriniosios vokiečių kalbos žodžio pirmojo dėmens perkėlimas į prūsišką E 215 formą. Prūsiškoje formoje yra rašybos klaida, t. y. vietoj parašyta . Atsižvelgiant į pateiktus svarstymus, Perʃt- traktuotina kaip , o visa prūsiška E 215 lema taisytina į *. ENThe article analyses the Prussian form E 215 Perʃtlanʃtan “shutter”, which, so far, has not got a universally acknowledged etymological explanation. When explaining the etymology of this Prussian word, linguists agree on the following matter: it demonstrates the same hypostases as the Prussian po-balso “mattress”, pocorto “threshold” and other words do. Based on this assumption, Perʃt- is perceived as the longer variant of per, and the whole Prussian word is perceived as “what is in front of the window”. Perʃt- attribution to the category of the Prussia prefix pirsdau “in front of, before” is not perfect. There is a possibility that the etymology of the Prussian E215 is totally different, and that it is related to the interpretation of the German segment of Elbing’s dictionary. It is stated that it is hardly possible to explain the meaning of a Prussian word with the prefix Perʃt- by comparing it with its equivalent of the Middle German language. As far as the structure is concerned, the Prussian word with the prefix Perʃt- does not have equivalents in other Baltic languages. It is obvious that it is neither more nor less a transfer of the first element of the word of the Middle German language into the Prussian E215 form, inspired by the formal autonomy of . The Prussian form contains a spelling mistake, i.e. instead of . Bearing in mind the presented considerations, Perʃt- should be interpreted as , and the rest of the lemma of the Prussian E215 should be corrected as *. This is the way combinations popular in Germanic languages emerge: their second element conveys a more general notion than the first one.
