Summary / Abstract:

LTPer XVII a. vidurio Lietuvos ir Lenkijos karą Lietuvos sostinė Vilnius 1655-1661 m. buvo rusų okupuota. Olivos taikos rengimo ir pasirašymo metu atsirado galimybė išplėsti Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės kariuomenės operacijas prieš Rusijos okupacinę kariuomenę ir imtis Vilniaus išlaisvinimo. Vilnius ir jo pilys vaduotos 1660-1661 metais. Vilniaus pilių vadavimo operacijose dalyvavo ir valdovas Jonas Kazimieras. Būdamas Vilniuje tuoj po pilių išvadavimo, 1961 m. gruodžio 8 d., Jonas Kazimieras patvirtino instrukciją Vilniaus pilies komendantui Willhelmui Pilattui. Instrukcijos originalas nežinomas. Publikuojama jos kopija, rasta Lenkijos Mokslų akademijos bibliotekoje Krokuvoje. Valdovas buvo susirūpinęs pilies atstatymu ir jos gynybinių funkcijų atkūrimu. Instrukcijoje išdėstyti pagrindiniai nurodymai pareigūnui, kaip pašalinti karo padarinius pilyje ir jos apylinkėse, kaip tvarkytis su įgula, palaikyti drausmę, užtikrinti pilies saugumą, stebėti aplinką, rinkti žinias apie miesto piliečių ir kitų gyventojų politines nuotaikas, jų požiūrį į karalių ir valstybę, kaip elgtis iškilus grėsmei, kaip gintis priešo apgulties metu, kaip globoti karo atveju į pilį subėgusius miestiečius ir kitus piliečius, ugdyti miestiečių ir kitų piliečių pilietinę savimonę, pagarbą valstybei ir įgulai, palaikyti rimtį, kaip ir kokiais atvejais palaikyti ryšius su miesto taryba, vaivada, su kitomis valdovo įgulomis, kaip spręsti nesusipratimus tarp įgulos ir miestiečių, apie kuriuos įvykius pranešti valdovui ir Lietuvos lauko etmonui.Reikšminiai žodžiai: Instrukcijos; Vilnius; LDK; Pilys; Komendantai; LDK; Kunigaikščiai.

ENDuring the war between the Middle Lithuania and Poland in the 17th century the capital of Lithuania Vilnius was occupied by Russia during the time period of 1655-1661. During the preparation for and undersigning of the Treaty of Oliwa, the possibility to expand military operations of the army of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania against the occupational Russian army and take actions for liberation of Vilnius came into existence. Vilnius and its castles were liberated in 1660-1661. The Ruler John Casimir II Vasa also participated in the Vilnius castles liberation operations. Being in Vilnius right after the liberation of the castles, on 8 December, 1661 he approved the instruction to Willhelm Pilatt, the Commandant of Vilnius Castle. The original copy of the instruction is lost, its copy, found in the Library of the Academy of Sciences of Poland in Krakow is published. The ruler was concerned with the restoration of the castle and reinstatement of its defense functions. The instruction states the main guidelines for the officer in order to eliminate the consequences of the war inside the castle and in its vicinity, how to manage the crew, keep up discipline, ensure the security of the castle, monitor the environment, collect the information on the political climate among the citizens of the city and other residents, their view of the king and the state, how to act in case of threat, defend the castle during a siege, take care of the residents of the city and other citizens, who get into the castle in case of war, how to nurture the civil self-perception of the residents of the city and other citizens, their respect of the state and the crew, how to upkeep peace, how and in which cases keep communication with the city council, the Voivode and other crews, how to resolve conflicts between the crew and the city residents and which events must be reported to the Ruler and the Field Hetman of Lithuania.
