Juliusz Bardach as a representative of the youngest generation of the Vilnius historical-law school

ENThe article outlines a person of Juliusz Bardach with the background of the milieu of historians of law in Stefan Batory University, its generations, representatives and their academic, political and social activity. The author analyses the profile of professor Juliusz Bardach as a representative of this community, but also it is a background to present himself as a person, his family and social position as well as his scientific activity before the II World War and after it. The author seeks to depict one of the most famous historians of law in 20th century in Poland as one of the Ehrenkreutz’s students, and tries to understand the phenomenon of the milieu the latter one had created.
