Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje aptariamos pamaldos už mirusiuosius katalikų bažnyčiose Kaune XX–XXI a. sandūroje, pamaldų istorinė raida, nagrinėjamos mirusiųjų kūno ir kremuotų palaikų laidojimo apeigos. Laidojimo apeigos 2004 m. Atnaujintos ir tvarkomos pagal reformuotą Romos apeigyną Ordo Exsequiarum. Yra padaryti tam tikri pakeitimai: daugiau dėmesio skiriama mirusiojo šeimai, maldose nesakoma „meldžiamės už N. vėlę (sielą)“, bet – „už mirusįjį N.“ ir t. t. Straipsnyje analizuojama problema – vengiant dualistinės žmogaus sampratos, silpsta pomirtinio gyvenimo samprata bei rūpestis sielos likimu anapus mirties. ENThe article discusses funeral rites carried out in Catholic Churches of Kaunas at the turn of the 20 th and 21st centures and their historical development, analyses burial rites of the body as well as of cremated remains. Funeral rites have been revised in 2004 and are regulated according to the reformed Roman Ritual Ordo Exsequiarum. Some changes have been made: more attention is directed towards the family members of the deceased, the texts of prayers no longer contain an expression "let us pray for the soul of he deceased N.", but rather "for the late N." etc. The problem analyzed in the article: when the concept of a soul is no longer used, a perception of life after death and preoccupation with the destiny of the soul after death declines.
