Czesławas Miłoszas apie avangardą ir jo šiandienines pasekmes

LTStraipsnyje siekiama atsakyti, ar 3-4 dešimtmečiai – Miloszo brendimo ir pasaulėžiūros formavimosi laikas – Lenkijos kontekste gali būti įvardyti kaip vidinio modernizmo dekados, kai ėmė ryškėti esminės šio šimtmečio literatūros problemos. Tai laikas, kai stiprėjo totalitarinės tendencijos , o masinės kultūros ekspansija išgyvena avangardinių „izmų“ triumfą ir nuosmukį. Individualizmo krizės, atmetusios visuotinį tragiško žmogiškosios egzistencijos matmenį, padarinys – įvairios pabėgimo nuo laisvės formos ir baimė dėl žmogaus trapumo. Miloszas buvo tas, kuris pastebėjo ir išgyveno individualizmo tragediją, suteikė jai formą, tapusią vienu svarbiausių modernistinės žmogaus ir meno koncepcijos krizės siužetų. Poetas, atmetęs avangardo idėją, sukėlė ne tik ilgą polemiką su didžiausiomis utopijomis ir nepaliaujamomis iliuzijomis, kad šiuolaikinė civilizacija patenkina visus žmogaus poreikius, bet ir inicijavo iškilų dvasinės žmogaus tapatybės gynybos projektą. Vilniaus poeto pradėtą avangardo ištakų kvestionavimo ir atitolimo nuo jų procesą galima suskaidyti į du etapus. Pirmasis prasidėjo po kelionės iš Prancūzijos (1934-1935) ir siejasi su bandymu „pataisyti“ avangardą. Jis iškelia būtinybę peržengti „ginčus apie eilėraščio metriką“, praplėsti jaunos literatūros perspektyvą, kuri peržengtų materialiųjų ir jutiminių žmonijos reikalų aprašymus. Antrasis etapas susijęs su kylančiomis Miloszo abejonėmis dėl idėjinių ir politinių kairiųjų koncepcijų ir formalistinės normatyvinio avangardo poetikos atmetimo. ENThe 1920s and 1930s, the period when the Weltanschaung of Czeslaw Milosz formed, were the times of crisis for Modernity in Poland. The most fundamental problems of twentieth century Polish literature took shape against the background of the rise of totalitarianism and mass culture. In the rise and fall of the avant-garde currents, the most significant hopes and dangers of modern creative effort can be perceived. The crisis of individualism, manifested in the rejection of the tragic side of existence, resulted in an escape from freedom and, at the same time, led to Pan European barbarism and the bizarre coincidence of both indifference and the cult of entertainment. Milosz was to become a poet, who offered one of the most important perspectives on the modern crisis of man and art. His rejection of the avant-garde marks not only the beginning of his polemics with the great Utopias and modern civilization but also initiates his defence of spiritual resources for shaping human identity The departure of Milosz from the avant-garde relates to a broadening of perspectives for the early literature, which meant transforming the materialism of literary insights into human life. Milosz contradicted these avant-garde principles: the leading role of the community, the belief in technology and the very idea of progress. He juxtaposes these with his belief in the tragic core of existence, which provides meaning to individual life and artistic creation.
