Mokyklos tinklo restruktūrizavimas
LTStraipsnyje analizuojamas vienos mokyklos (Mažeikių „Ventos“ vidurinės mokyklos) tinklo restruktūrizavimas: aprašomi mokyklos kompiuterių tinklai ir jų administravimas, pristatomas kompiuterių tinklų restruktūrizavimo projektas. Mažeikių „Ventos“ vidurinėje mokykloje jau yra įrengtas kompiuterių tinklas, tačiau jo esmė ir forma jau moraliai pasenusi ir nebeatitinka šiandienos kompiuterių tinklams keliamų reikalavimų. Dėl to tinkle vyksta didžiulės duomenų srautų kolizijos, prarandami paketai, lėtėja duomenų perdavimo tinkle greitis. Analizuojant mokyklos tinklo restruktūrizavimo būtinybę, straipsnyje išsamiai nagrinėjamas dabartinis tinklo panaudojimas mokykloje, pagrindžiamas kompiuterių tinklo tipo pasirinkimas, apžvelgiama tinklo topologija ir fizinė įranga, pristatomas išsamus veikiančio kompiuterių tinklo darbo efektyvumo vertinimas, aprašoma tinklo analizė ir testavimas. Pateikiamas restruktūrizuoto kompiuterių tinklo projektas, kuris apsprendžia tinklo modernizavimą, įrangos atnaujinimą, efektyvesnį tinklo darbą. Po mokyklos kompiuterių tinklo restruktūrizavimo tinklas turėtų pasikeisti iš esmės. Restruktūrizavus mokyklos vidinį kompiuterių tinklą (intranetą), mokiniams ir mokytojams bei visai mokyklos bendruomenei atsivertų el. pašto, mokyklos bendruomenės informavimo IKT priemonėmis, mokomosios medžiagos kaupimo ir skleidimo, diskusijų, vaizdo konferencijų galimybės. Bendruomenės nariai būtų aktyviau skatinami mokytis ir dirbti elektroninėje erdvėje. Internetas ir komunikacinės technologijos taptų visokeriopa parama mokyklos valdyme bei savivaldoje.
ENThe article analyses the restructuring of the network of one school (Mažeikiai Venta Secondary School): describes the school’s computer networks and their administration and presents a computer network restructuring project. A computer network has already been installed in Mažeikiai Venta Secondary School but its essence and form are already outdated and no longer comply with requirements established for today’s computer networks. As a result, the network encounters massive data flow collisions, loss of packages, slowing of the speed in the data transmission network. When analysing the necessity of the restructuring of the school’s network, the article comprehensively examines the current use of the network in the school, substantiates the choice of the computer network type, reviews the topology and hardware of the network, presents a detailed assessment of the performance of the in-service computer network, and describes the analysis and testing of the network. It presents a project of the restructured computer network which determines the upgrading of the network, updating of the hardware, and more efficient operation of the network. After the restructuring of the school’s computer network, the network should change substantially. The restructuring of the internal computer network (intranet) of the school will open the possibilities of e-mail, provision of the school community with information by ICT tools, accumulation and dissemination of educational materials, discussion and video conferencing to students and teachers and the whole school community. Members of the community would be more actively encouraged to study and work in the cyberspace. Internet and communication technologies would become support of every kind in the school management and local self-government.
