2009 metų Europos Parlamento rinkimų Lietuvoje rezultatai: aplinkybės ir prognozė

LTStraipsnyje analizuojami 2009 m. rinkimų į Europos Parlamentą rezultatai, jų įtaka Lietuvos partinės sistemos raidai, aptariamos menko rinkėjų dalyvavimo priežastys. Taip pat apžvelgiamas Lietuvos politinių partijų priklausymo Europos Parlamento grupėms pagrįstumas ir ideologinis adekvatumas. Straipsnyje remiamasi Maiklo Maršo (Michael Marsh) pateiktomis hipotezėmis apie dalyvavimą Europos Parlamento (toliau – EP) rinkimuose, taip pat autoriaus atliktais tyrimais. Daroma išvada, kad 2009 m. EP rinkimų rezultatai Lietuvoje atskleidžia didėjančią politinę partijų poliarizaciją, tačiau atitinka klasikinį antraeilių rinkimų apibrėžimą ir neleidžia daryti išvados apie skeptišką Lietuvos rinkėjų požiūrį į Europos Sąjungą.

ENThe article analyses the results of the 2009 elections to the European Parliament, their impact on the development of the Lithuanian party system and the reasons for the poor show-up by the electorate. It also discusses the legitimacy and ideological adequacy of including Lithuanian political parties into the European parliamentary groups. The article is based on the hypotheses of Michael Marsh with respect to the participation in the elections of the European Parliament and the research conducted by the author. The author concludes that the results of the EP elections in Lithuania reveal an increasing polarisation between political parties. However, these elections are secondary and cannot be correlated with the sceptical attitude of the Lithuanian electorate towards the European Union.
