Lietuviški muliažai

LTĮ dailėtyrininko Vido Poškaus akiratį patenka muliažai - savo esminėmis savybėmis artimi maketams, modeliams, butaforijoms. Kai kuriais specifiniais atvejais vienas objektas gali būti ir tuo, ir tuo, ir tuo. Skirtumas galbūt tas, kad maketai ir modeliai yra pagalbinės priemonės įgyvendinant architektūrinius sumanymus, viena pirmųjų jų pakopų. Nors muliažo terminas su lietuviška tapatybe lyg ir neturi nieko bendro, tačiau juo apibrėžiamas fenomenas egzistavo Lietuvoje nuo seniausių laikų: straipsnyje pateikiama pavyzdžių ir iš archeologinės medžiagos, ir iš LSSR laikotarpio, ir iš šiuolaikinės dailės kūrinių.

In certain specific situations one object can be this and that and something else entirely. Maybe the difference consists in the point that props and models are subsidiary tools while implementing architectural visions, the first stage of the process. Even though the term itself seemingly does not have anything in common with Lithuanian sameness, the phenomena existed in Lithuania from ancient times: the article mentions examples from archeological materials, from the times of Soviet rule and taken from contemporary art.
