Kanoniniai odės ir epigramos autoriai XVII-XVIII amžiaus mokykliniuose poetikos ir retorikos kursuose : Živilė Nedzinskaitė

LTStraipsnio objektą sudaro senosios literatūros kanoninių autorių aptarimas, remiantis mokykliniais XVII–XVIII a. poetikos ir retorikos kursais. Jų autoriai daug dėmesio skyrė odėms bei epigramoms: jų klasifikacijai, rūšims, taip pat jų specifikai bei kompozicijos būdams. Paskaitose išdėstytas teorines taisykles profesoriai iliustravo daugybe poetinių pavyzdžių, kuriais remdamiesi ar juos imituodami studentai patys galėjo komponuoti skirtingų žanrų kūrinius. LDK jėzuitų kolegijų dėstytojai cituoja bei analizuoja ne tik tam tikro žanro etalonais tapusius garsiausių Antikos autorių tekstus (odės pavyzdžiais pateikiami Horacijaus kūriniai, epigramos – Marcialio), bet ir žymiausių savo meto kūrėjų (Jokūbo Bidermano, Fransua Remondo, Petro Labe, Bernardo Bauhuzijaus, Džono Oveno, Jokūbo Baldės) bei Lietuvos ir Lenkijos poetų (Motiejaus Kazimiero Sarbievijaus, Alberto Ineso, Andriaus Kanono) kūrinius. ENThe authors of school courses of poetics and rhetoric of the 17th-18th centuries accorded much attention to the detailed discussion of the genres of the ode and of the epigram: to their classification, varieties, specifics and means of composition. In their lectures, the professors illustrated the theoretic rules with a great number of poetic examples. Taking such examples as a basis or imitating them, the students could create works in different genres. The instructors of the Jesuit Colleges of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania quoted and analysed not only standard texts by famous ancient authors (Horace's texts provide examples of an ode, Martial's works serve as examples of an epigram), but also works by some of the best known authors of the time (Jacobus Bidermanus, Franciscus Remondus, Petrus Labbe, Bernardus Bauhusius, John Owen, Jacobus Balde) as well as texts by Lithuanian and Polish poets (Matthias Casimirus Sarbievius, Albert Ines, Andreas Kanon). Reading, analysis and imitation of eminent ancient and contemporary authors not only developed the students' poetic skills, but also formed their moral value system, literary taste, and the ability to articulately express their thoughts.
