Summary / Abstract:

Naujojo Testamento (NT) citatų „Postilės“ pirmojoje dalyje (BP I), Bretkūno Naujajame Testamente (BNT) , Vilento „Euangelias bei Epistolas“ (EE) ir „Wolfenbüttelio postilėje“ (WP) lyginamoji analizė parodė, jog citatos BP I yra ne kitų šaltinių nuorašas, o naujas vertimas. Tik nedidelė BP I pamoksluose esančių NT posakių dalis sutampa su BNT pirminiu tekstu arba korektūromis. BNT žymiai daugiau prielinksninių konstrukcijų, o BP I vartojamas aliayvas ir iliatyvas. BP I citatose gausiau dalyvių, o BNT – šalutinių aplinkybės ir pažyminio arba sujungiamųjų sakinių. Šios BP I sintakstinės formos archajiškesnės ir nėra nulemtos vertimo šaltinių. BP I daugiau slaviškų žodžių, pastebėta ir semantinių skirtumų. Leksinių vienetų varijavimo atvejų BP I mažiau nei BNT, tačiau pasikartojantys fragmentai BP I pamoksluose užrašyti skirtingai – esama ir tekstologiniu požiūriu svarbių leksikos ir sintaksės pakitimų, rodančių buvus kitą vertimo šaltinį. Darytina išvada, kad „Postilėje“ Bretkūnas nesistengė vienodai atkartoti Biblijos citatų ir stabilizuoti Biblijos teksto.Reikšminiai žodžiai: Biblija; Citatos; Jonas Bretkūnas; Lyginamoji analizė, sintaksinės konkstrukcijos; Naujasis Testamentas; Pamokslų rinkinys; Perikopės; Sintaksė; Vertimas; Vertimo stabilumas; Bible; Collection of sermons; Comparative analysis; Johannes Bretke; New Testament; Quotation; Quotes; Stability in translation; Syntactic constructions; Syntax; Translation.

ENJonas Bretkūnas “Postilė” (1591) is composed of sermons and preceding pericopes. Supposedly, the sermons were composed by Bretkūnas, however, the major part of pericopes was taken from Baltramiejus Vilentas “Euangelias bei Epistolas” (1579). The article analyses the relation between the quotations of the New Testament(NT) in “Postilė” and Bretkūnas' New Testament which translation was finished in 1580. The work analyses the fragments of the NT which include quoted but not paraphrased sayings taken from the Bible. In the first part of “Postilė”, there were 150 sayings. A comparative analysis of quotations from the NT in the first part of “Postilė”(BPI), Bretkūnas' New Testament(BNT), Vilentas “Euangelias bei Epistolas”(EE) and “Wolfenbütteler Postille”(WP)revealed that the quotations in BPI are not transcribed from other sources, they are newly translated. Only a little part of NT sayings in BPI sermons coincides with the original texts of BNT and its emendations. BNT contains more prepositional constructions; BPI is distinguished by the use of allative and illative cases. There are many participles in BPI quotations; however, BNT is full of subordinate adverbial and attributive clauses or compound sentences. The mentioned BPI syntactic forms are more archaic and are not influenced by translation sources. Also, BPI contains more Slavonic words; some semantic differences are noticed, too. There are fewer variations with lexical units in BPI than in BNT; however, repetitive fragments in BPI sermons are recorded differently. Moreover, there are textually important lexical and syntactic changes indicating the existence of another translation source. In conclusion, Bretkūnas did not try to copy the quotations of the Bible and stabilise the text of the Bible in his “Postilė”.
