Polska wobec wstąpienia Litwy do struktur Europejskich
LTStraipsnyje pateikiami nauji istorinių ir politinių tyrimų duomenys apie Lenkijos santykius su Lietuvos valstybe, šiai pastarųjų dešimtmečių laikotarpiu tampant Europos politinių struktūrų partnere bei tikrąja nare. Lenkijos valstybės vadovai bei vyriausybė aktyviai dalyvavo esminių istorinių bei politinių Rytų ir Vidurio Europos pokyčių procese įsimintinais 1991-aisiais metais. Svarbia strateginės Lenkijos ir Lietuvos partnerystės sudėtine dalimi pastaruoju metu tapo ženkliai išaugęs abiejų šalių bendradarbiavimas ekonomikos bei energetikos srityje, įgavęs solidų pagreitį XX a. 9-ojo dešimtmečio antrojoje pusėje, išnaudojant naujai atsivėrusias laisvosios rinkos galimybes. Pozityviu abiejų šalių bendradarbiavimo bei geros kaimynystės liudijimu galima laikyti aktualią Lenkijos paramą Lietuvai bei kitoms Baltijos šalims stojant į NATO, o vėliau ir į Europos Sąjungos (ES) gretas. Ši Lenkijos parama Lietuvai buvo ir yra nuosekli, pagrįsta nesavanaudiškumo bei lygiateisiškumo principais. Straipsnyje konstatuojama, kad Lenkijos ir Lietuvos santykiuose šiuo metu vis dar yra sudėtingų ir neišspręstų istorinių klausimų, pavyzdžiui, Armijos Krajovos karių Vilniaus krašte problema arba Vilniaus krašte esančios žemės grąžinimas savininkams lenkams. Tačiau šios problemos nedaro įtakos Lenkijos ir Lietuvos santykiams, kurie ir toliau turi strateginį pobūdį abiejose šalyse, nepaisant to, kad po įstojimo į NATO ir ES, abi šalys užsitikrino tarptautinį saugumą, o po įstojimo į ES – stabilios ekonominės plėtros perspektyvą.
ENThe article presents the data of new historical and political research about Poland’s relations with the state of Lithuania, with the latter having become a partner and full-fledged member of European political structures. The heads and the government of the state of Poland actively participated in the process of key historical and political changes in Eastern and Central Europe in 1991, which was the year of significant events. The increased cooperation between the two states in the fields of economy and energy, which significantly enhanced in the second half of the 9th decade of the 20th c. with new free market opportunities emerging, has recently become a significant integral part of the Poland and Lithuania’s partnership. The actual support provided by Poland to Lithuania and the other Baltic States when joining NATO and later the European Union (EU) can be regarded as evidence of positive cooperation between the two states and good neighbourhood relations. This Poland’s support to Lithuania has been and still is a coherent support based on principles of disinterestedness and equality. The author of the article states that current Lithuanian and Polish relations still have complex and unresolved historical issues, for example, the problem of Armija Krajowa soldiers in the region of Vilnius or the recovery of lands in the region of Vilnius once belonging to Poles. However, these problems have no impact on the relations between Poland and Lithuania, which have strategic nature in the both states, irrespective of the fact that after the accession to NATO and the EU, the both states ensured their international security, and after the accession to the EU – the prospect of stable economic development.
