Vilniaus kolegijos telekomunikacijų studijų programos absolventų įsidarbinimo ir karjeros galimybės

LTStraipsnyje analizuojamos absolventų, baigusių telekomunikacijų studijų programą, įsidarbinimo ir karjeros galimybės. Pirmoje straipsnio dalyje apžvelgiamos įsidarbinimo ir karjeros galimybės teoriniu aspektu. Antroje straipsnio dalyje pristatomas tyrimas, kuriame siekta įvertinti 2006 ir 2007 m. laidų telekomunikacijų studijų programos absolventų integraciją į darbo rinką. Apklausti 58 absolventai. Gautų rezultatų analizė atskleidė, kad 58 proc. absolventų, pasirinkusių telekomunikacijų studijas Vilniaus kolegijoje, šiuo metu dirba pagal specialybę. 59 proc. apklaustųjų teigia, kad šiuo metu užima aukštesnes pareigas, negu ką tik pradėję dirbti. Apklausoje dalyvavusios įmonės yra patenkintos Vilniaus kolegijos ruošiamais telekomunikacijų specialistais. Darbdaviai labiausiai vertina šias absolventų asmenines savybes: darbštumą, sąžiningumą, vidinę motyvaciją, norą siekti užsibrėžto tikslo, norą dirbti, kruopštumą, atidumą ir kt. Apklausos duomenys rodo, kad telekomunikacijų specialistų poreikis didės, o telekomunikacijų inžinieriams yra realios galimybės pakilti karjeros laiptais. Remiantis apklausos rezultatais, pateikiami siūlymai daugiau dėmesio skirti studentų praktiniams įgūdžiams tobulinti, o ne teorinėms žinioms gilinti. Vilniaus kolegija bendrauja su dauguma Lietuvos įmonių, todėl siūloma kolegijai suteikti savo absolventams reikiamą pagalbą įsidarbinant, taip pat skatinti buvusius studentus bendradarbiauti su Vilniaus kolegija.

ENThe article deals with the employment and career opportunities for graduates who completed the study programme of telecommunications. First part of the article provides an overview of employment and career opportunities in theoretical aspect. Second part presents the research which aimed to evaluate the integration of the graduates of telecommunication studies of years 2006 and 2007 into the labor market. 58 graduates were interviewed. The results obtained revealed that 58 per cent of graduates, who opted for telecommunications studies at the Vilnius College, are currently employed according to the specialty. 59 percent of them say they currently occupy senior positions than after having just taken up the employment. The companies surveyed are satisfied with the specialists of telecommunication prepared by the Vilnius College. The following personal qualities of the graduates are most appreciated by employers: diligence, honesty, inner motivation and desire to achieve the study, willingness to work, accuracy, attention, and so on. Survey data shows that the demand for the telecommunication specialists will increase, and telecommunication engineers have a real opportunity to be promoted. According to survey results, the proposals focus on giving more attention to practical skills of students rather than deepening their theoretical knowledge. Vilnius College communicates with the majority of Lithuanian companies; therefore there is a proposal to provide the necessary assistance to its graduates in employment as well as to encourage former students to collaborate with the Vilnius College.
