Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjama paauglių, turinčių judėjimo sutrikimų, vidinė darna ir elgsenos ypatumai. Gauti rezultatai rodo, kad judėjimo negalią turinčioms merginoms ypač reikalinga psichologinė parama formuojant vidinę darną ir ieškant gyvenimo prasmės. Taip pat nustatyta, kad neįgalūs paaugliai nepriklauso žalingų įpročių bei kitų elgsenos ypatumų rizikos grupėms, tačiau šio tyrimo metu elgsenos ypatumai nebuvo nagrinėjami lyties aspektu. ENThe aim of this survey was to analyze sense of coherence (SOC) and health behavior of adolescents with physical disability (motional disorders). Orientation of Life Questionnaire by A. Antonovsky (1995–1987) and Questionnaire for Health Behavior (made by authors) were used as evaluation tools. 96 12–16 years old adolescents (mean age 14,38), 50 (17 girls and 33 boys) were disabled and 46 (22 girls and 24 boys) non-disabled participated in the survey. Results showed that sense of coherence of disabled and non-disabled boys didn’t vary and difference wasn’t statistically significant (t = –0,073, p = 0,942). However, disabled girls tend to have lower level of SOC in comparison with non-disabled girls (t(37) = –2,325, p = 0,026). The results also showed that differences between groups according to frequency of smoking weren’t statistically significant (p = 0,355). Differences between groups according to alcohol consumption were found according to the alcohol consumption several times per month (p = 0,014). Results showed that only non-disabled teenagers consumed alcohol several times per months, while disabled teenagers showed no evidence of this. It was also found that disabled adolescents made sports more rarely than non-disabled (p = 0,002), but statistically significant bigger part of disabled adolescents sometimes took healthy nourishment, in comparison with non-disabled (p = 0,026). Got results showed that adolescents with motional disorders were not in the risk group because of addiction but girls with motional disorders were recommended to get psychological help for finding meaning of their life and sense of coherence formation.
