Gabių sutrikusio regėjimo vaikų galios ir sunkumai: atvejo analizė

LTNors gabūs vaikai yra tiriami gana plačiai, tačiau tyrimų apie gabius sutrikusios regos vaikus yra labai mažai. Straipsnyje apžvelgiamos gabių sutrikusios regos vaikų ypatybės ir specialieji poreikiai, literatūros šaltinių ir atvejo analizės pagrindu siekiant išskirti gabių sutrikusios regos vaikų ypatybes gabumų ir regos sutrikimų sąveikos kontekste, bei pateikti rekomendacijas šių vaikų ugdymui. Remiantis literatūros šaltinių analize galima teigti, kad nors šie vaikai turi didesnių specialiųjų poreikių nei vidutinių gebėjimų sutrikusios regos vaikai, jų pasiekimai kai kuriose srityse gali būti per žemi, dėl specifinės galių ir sunkumų sąveikos jie gali būti nelaikomi gabiais, nes jų sunkumai būna labiau pastebimi nei galios. Gabumams šioje specialiųjų poreikių grupėje identifikuoti reikia platesnių kriterijų nei įprastai, atskaitos tašku laikant sutrikusios regos, o ne reginčius vaikus. Šalia aukšto IQ ir pasiekimų ypač svarbu įvertinti kitas gabių vaikų ypatybes. Sudarant ugdymo programas, reikėtų atkreipti dėmesį, kad šie vaikai dėl dvejopo ypatingumo turi kur kas didesnių poreikių nei sutrikusios regos vaikai, kurių intelektiniai gebėjimai yra vidutiniai. Straipsnyje pateikiami vieno gabaus sutrikusios regos vaiko psichologinio įvertinimo rezultatai. Įvertinimas atliktas naudojant WISC-III ir ITVIC testus bei pusiau struktūruotą interviu. Nagrinėjant atvejį, išsamiai analizuojami intelektiniai gebėjimai, aprašomos interviu pagalba atskleistos vaiko asmenybės ir elgesio ypatybės (motyvacinės savybės, kūrybiškumas, santykių ypatumai, emocinės ypatybės), pateikiamos išsamios rekomendacijos ugdymui.

ENWhile gifted children are tested fairly extensively, the studies on gifted children with visual disorders are very poor. The article reviews particularities and special needs of gifted children with visual disorders. With the help of literature analysis and case study, the author aims to identify particularities of gifted children in a context of their abilities and visual disorders, and special needs of the property, literature and a case study based on in order to identify gifted children with visual impairments and provide recommendations for the education of such children. Literature analysis suggests, that though these children have greater special needs than average ability children with visual disorders, their achievements in some areas may be too low, and they may not be considered as gifted as, due to the interaction of their abilities and disorders, their disorders may be more noticeable than their abilities. In order to identify abilities in this groups of children with special needs, wider than usual criteria are necessary, and the reference point shall constitute of the children with visual disorders rather that healthy ones. In addition to a high IQ and achievements, it is important evaluating other particularities of gifted children. Drawing up the education programmes, it should be noted that, due to their dual particularity, these children have much greater special needs than children with visually disorders, whose intellectual capacity is moderate. The article delivers the results of psychological evaluation of one gifted child.The evaluation was carried out using the WISC-III and ITVIC tests and semi-structured interview. The case study involves detailed analysis of intellectual abilities, the description of personal and behavioural particularities of the child disclosed with the help of the interview (motivation, creativity, relationship and emotional that are described in interviews revealed the child's personality features), explicit educational recommendations.
