Maironis ir Šatrijos ragana - literatūros modernėjimo žingsnis

LTStraipsnyje aptariama lietuvių literatūros modernėjimo specifika XIX-XX a. sandūroje. Analizuojamas modernizuojantis Maironio poezijos poveikis jo skaitytojai prozininkei Marijai Pečkauskaitei-Šatrijos Raganai ir jos ankstyvajai kūrybai (apysaka Viktutė), Straipsnyje atskleidžiama viena ryškiausių modernizacijos linkmių - individualistinio „aš" kūrimasis atrandant tėvynės idėjos kaip visuotinumo plotmės individualias išraiškas ir individualų santykį su ja.

ENThe article deals with the specific character of Lithuanian literary modernization during the last decade of the 19th Century and the first years of the 20th Century. It analyzes the modernizing impact of "nonmodern" Maironis' poetry on his reader, the Lithuanian novelist Marija Pečkauskaitė-Šatrijos Ragana and her early writings (the novelette Viktutė). Šatrijos Ragana's reception of Maironis' poetry is specific to subjectification and interiorization of the patriotic ideāls and their inclusion into the intense erotic relationship with another person. The article argues that this was the actual way in which the modem literary individual emerged.
