Analysis of vocational training problems: case of Lithuania

LTDabartiniu metu intensyvi globalizacijos ir tarptautinės integracijos problematika yra ypač svarbi. Tad bendrovių gebėjimo investuoti į žmogiškąjį kapitalą klausimas tampa labai aktualus. Straipsnio tikslas – išnagrinėti profesinio mokymo Europos Sąjungoje (ES) problemas ir palyginti Lietuvos situaciją su kitomis šalimis. Straipsnyje analizuojama padėtis šioje srityje ES ir pateikiami Lietuvoje atliktos apklausos rezultatai. Pagrindinis atlikto tyrimų rezultatas turėtų būti politiniai sprendimai profesinio rengimo srityje.

ENThe intense competition exposed by globalisation and international integration bas become particularly important nowadays. Hence, the ability of companies to invest into human capital has become a topical issue. The aim of paper is to deal with the problems of vocational training in the EU and the comparison of Lithuania to other countries. Author analyses situation in the EU and presents results of the survey carried out in Lithuania. Policy implications in fîeld of vocational training are seen as main outcome of presented research.
