Žemaičių bajorų teatro dramaturgija: Aleksandro Fromo-Gužučio kūryba

LTAleksandras Fromas-Gužutis (1822-1900) - pirmasis XIX a. antros pusės dramaturgas, rašęs lietuvių kalba. Išliko trylika įvairių žanrų draminių kūrinių, kurie, pasak Jono Lankučio, yra „susiję su namų teatro tradicijomis ir atspindėjo autoriaus pastangas tą teatrą lietuvinti", būtent šis dramaturgas „nutiesė tiltą iš naminio-bajoriškojo teatro į naują Lietuvos sceninio meno epochą“. [...]. Bajorų teatro sąvoka yra paranki tyrinėjant lietuvių teatro ir dramaturgijos sąsajas su Lietuvos teatro tradicijomis, siekiančiomis didikų dvarų teatrų, jėzuitų mokyklinio teatro laikus. Kitakalbio ir lietuviško teatro tradicijas leidžia susieti žemaičių bajoro Aleksandro Fromo-Gužučio draminė kūryba. Kultūrinių tradicijų gija Žemaitijoje buvo pratęsta neatsitiktinai. Kražiuose teatras puoselėtas nuo jėzuitų įsteigtos kolegijos laikų, šios mokyklos auklėtinis Fromas-Gužutis tapo lietuvių dramaturgijos pradininku. [...]. XIX a. antrosios pusės politinė bei kultūrinė situacija nebuvo palanki lietuviškiems vaidinimams ir Fromo-Gužučio dramų, matyt, nevaidinta jokiame konkrečiame bajorų teatre. Tačiau jeigu tai buvo tik kūrėjo vaizduotėje egzistuojantis teatras, mus pasiekę dramų tekstai teikia pakankamai medžiagos (kur kas daugiau nei to meto tikrai vaidintų spektaklių recenzijos) rekonstruoti unikalų žemaičių bajorų teatro projektą, gausų ir įvairų repertuarą, atskleidžiantį Žemaitijos ir Lietuvos istoriją, legendas, žmonių papročius, teatrą, kuriame vaidinama ne lenkų ar rusų, o gimtąja lietuvių kalba. Fromo-Gužučio sukurtas žemaičių bajorų teatras (ar teatro projektas) yra unikalus lietuvių kultūros reiškinys, siejantis XIX a. pabaigoje gimusį lietuvišką teatrą ir dramaturgiją su turtingomis Lietuvos teatro tradicijomis.

ENThe book is devoted to the phenomenon of the theatre of noblemen, where the oeuvre of the initiator of the Lithuanian dramaturgy, the Samogitian nobleman Aleksandras Fromas-Gužutis (1821-1900) are discussed and analyzed, disclosing cultural contexts in the 14 published and manuscript dramas. The oeuvre of Fromas-Gužutis is a unique document of the culture of noblemen, evidence of the efforts expressed in a true Samogitian tenacity to introduce the Lithuanian language into the Polish speaking manor house theatre of noblemen, demonstrating and documenting the freedom of creative spirit. The copious and rather complex from the theatrical point of view dramaturgy of Fromas-Gužutis written in the Lithuanian language is clearly distinguishing among the works of the 19th century created and devoted to the Lithuanian amateur theatre making its first steps in the USA and Russia. Fromas-Gužutis wrote in the Lithuanian language in the period of press ban, when he would have been severely victimized for such activities; as a nobleman he was breaking the deeply rooted traditions of the Polish language and was writing in Lithuanian; political reasons prevented the establishment of the Lithuanian theatre, however, he wrote the repertory, a complex dramaturgy from the theatrical point of view, as if the life in Lithuania was following the normal course of historical development as in other European countries. Dramaturgy of Fromas-Gužutis highlights the rich cultural memory, going as far back as the times of Jesuits, the times of the theatre of noblemen, and the attention of the playwright to the theatre of his epoch (disclosing parallels with the repertory of the public Vilnius theatre and theatrical disputes).
