Socialinio darbuotojo patiriami sunkumai dirbant stacionarioje psichikos sveikatos priežiūros įstaigoje

LTSocialiniai darbuotojai dirba daugiadisciplininėse komandose stacionarinėse psichikos sveikatos įstaigose, kartu su kolegomis, kurie yra išsilavinę medicinos srityje ir kurių darbo pobūdis nėra susijęs su socialinio teisingumo užtikrinimu (Tseris, 2023), siekdami palaikyti pacientų ir šeimų funkcionavimą, skatinti gyvenimo kokybę ūmių ir lėtinių ligų bei negalios kontekste ir pasisakyti už visuomenės pokyčius, kad būtų pašalinta socialinė nelygybė (Muskat, 2017). Straipsnyje yra atskleidžiama socialinio darbuotojo patiriami sunkumai dirbant stacionarioje psichikos sveikatos priežiūros įstaigoje. Atlikta mokslinės literatūros ir kokybinio tyrimo duomenų analizė. Tyrimo duomenų rinkimui buvo pasitelktas kokybinis tyrimas, taikant struktūruotą interviu. Tyrimo metu buvo apklausiami socialiniai darbuotojai, kurie dirba stacionarioje psichikos sveikatos priežiūros įstaigoje. Tiriamieji buvo apklausti jų pačių darbo aplinkoje, tiesioginiu būdu. Tiesioginis interviu – tai apklausos atlikimo būdas, kuomet tyrėjas bendrauja su tiriamuoju akivaizdžiu, akis į akį būdu. Tyrimo metu išryškėjimo, kad vieni tyrimo dalyviai nepatiria sunkumų sveikatos priežiūros specialistų komandoje, kiti tyrimo dalyviai komandoje patiria komunikacijos problemas, didelį darbo krūvį, kartais nežinojimą iš kitų komandos narių apie socialinio darbuotojo pareigas bei atliekamas funkcijas. Tyrimo analizė atskleidė, kad tyrimo dalyviai dažnai dėl laiko trūkumo, šalies įstatymų ir kitų įstaigų, su kuriomis tenka bendradarbiauti, vietų trūkumo, pačio kliento nemotyvuoto elgesio, ne visada gali suteikti efektyvią pagalbą klientui. ENRelevance of the topic: There are no scientific sources, both foreign and Lithuanian, that analyze and highlight the difficulties and challenges of social workers in inpatient mental health care institutions, or conducted research that reveals the difficulties experienced by social workers in inpatient mental health care institutions, or it was not possible to find them. Problem of the research: What are the difficulties experienced by a social worker when working in an inpatient mental health care facility? Subject of the research: social worker's difficulties in working in an inpatient mental health care facility. The purpose of the research is to: determine the difficulties experienced by a social worker while working at the inpatient mental health care facility. Research objectives: 1) To describe the purpose of the inpatient mental health care facility; 2) To distinguish the activities of a social worker in an inpatient mental health care facility; 3) To reveal the difficulties experienced by a social worker while working in an inpatient mental health care facility. Research methodology and subjects: Theoretical – analysis of scientific literature; comparison, generalization; empirical - structured interview method used for data collection; content analysis method used for data analysis. The participants were 5 social workers who work in an inpatient mental health care facility were interviewed.Empirical research results: The qualitative analysis of the study revealed that participants are often not always able to provide effective assistance to the client due to lack of time, lack of space in the country's legislation and other institutions with which they have to cooperate, and the client's own demotivated behaviour. In their efforts to work with the family, participants are confronted with the reluctance of family members to get involved, uncomfortable communication, and the unwillingness to take responsibility for their own family members and to fulfil their duties as a family member. While some of the participants in the study do not experience any difficulties in the team of health professionals, other participants in the study experience communication problems in the team, a heavy workload, and at times a lack of awareness of the social worker's duties and functions on the part of other team members.
