XIX a. vidurio Žemaitijos katalikų parapijiečių sąrašai: duomenų apie amžių patikimumo nustatymas

LTStraipsnyje aptariami istorinės demografijos metodai, skirti duomenų apie amžių patikimumui nustatyti (Viplio indeksas, ABCC indeksas, Myerso indeksas, maskulinizacijos indeksas). Jais remiantis demonstruojama, kaip nustatyti duomenų apie gyventojų amžių, esančių katalikų parapijiečių sąrašuose, saugomuose Vilniaus stačiatikių vyskupijos fonde, patikimumą. Parapijiečių sąrašų analizė atskleidė, kad dažniausiai šiuose sąrašuose duomenys apie amžių buvo apvalinami, tad nėra patikimi. Išimtis - 1844 m. Šakynos parapijiečių sąrašas, kuriame duomenys apie amžių nebuvo apvalinti, tačiau sąrašą sudaręs asmuo greičiausiai taikė reviziniais surašymais grįstą gyventojų amžiaus skaičiavimo metodiką, tad šio sąrašo duomenų apie gyventojų amžių nereikėtų laikyti absoliučiai patikimais. ENThe article discusses methods used in historical demography to determine the reliability of age data - the Whipplex, ABCC, Myers and Masculinity indices. It demonstrates how to determine the reliability of age data for the population contained in the lists of Catholic parishioners stored in the Orthodox records of Vilnius Diocese. Analysis of the lists showed that the age data they contain were mostly rounded and therefore unreliable. An exception is the list from Šakyna Parish dated 1844, where the age data were not rounded. However, the person who compiled the list, must have used the methodology for calculating the age of the population based on the revised censuses, so the age data in this list should not be regarded as reliably accurate.
